自律学習を支援する小学生向け夏期講習、IMR Educationが7月より開始

IMR Educationは、子どもたちが夏の自由な時間を有意義に使い、自律した学習スキルを身に付けることをサポートする夏期講習を2024年7月に開始します。英語を中心とした個別指導により、海外経験がある子どもや海外志望の家庭のニーズに応えるこのプログラムは、保護者とのコミュニケーションを重視し、子どもたちが健全な生活リズムを保ちながら、学習への意欲を高めることを目的にしています。
背景
多くの子どもたちが夏休みを迎えるにあたり、勉強のリズムが狂い、昼夜逆転の生活や、ゲームなどに依存する傾向が増えています。そんな状況を見かねたIMR Educationは、保護者の方からのフィードバックをもとに、子どもたちが自律的な学習方法を継続的に実践できる新サービスを開発。特に英語にフォーカスし、学習環境が国際化する中で、英語を学ぶ子どもたちをサポートするためのプログラムを策定しました。
保護者の方々へ学習に関する質問が増えた時期、あるいは中学受験を意識し始めた時期より開始されるとよいものです。私達の経験では特に小３くらいがベストだと判断しますが、早期英語教育にご興味を持っていたり、ご兄弟・姉妹のお世話やお仕事の関係でご家庭でのフォローが難しかったりする場合には、小１からでも必要だと考えてます。

IMR Education to start summer courses for elementary school students to support independent learning in July
IMR Education will launch a summer course in July 2024 to help children make good use of their summer free time and develop independent study skills. This program, which responds to the needs of children with overseas experience or families hoping to study abroad through individualized instruction centered on English, emphasizes communication with parents and aims to increase children's motivation to learn while maintaining a healthy daily rhythm.
Background
As many children approach summer vacation, their study rhythms become disrupted, and they are increasingly prone to reverse their day and night schedules and become dependent on games. Seeing this situation, IMR Education has developed a new service based on feedback from parents that allows children to continue practicing independent learning methods. With a particular focus on English, we have formulated a program to support children who are learning English as the learning environment becomes more internationalized.
It is best to start when parents start asking more questions about their studies or when they start thinking about taking the junior high school entrance exam. In our experience, we think that the best time is around the third grade of elementary school, but if you are interested in early English education or it is difficult to follow up at home due to caring for siblings or work, we think it is necessary even from the first grade of elementary school.
